Get ready to see oleandrin trending as the newest COVID cure that the medical community is trying to deny access to.
BECAUSE IT HAS NOT BEEN PROVEN TO TREAT COVID-19.
No clinical study featuring oleandrin has been listed in ClinicalTrials.gov (a website I spend far too much time on for work), which gives me greater doubt about the integrity of the study mentioned in the article.
The parallel approach of launching it as a dietary supplement while pursuing FDA approval as a COVID-19 drug approach is deeply concerning, especially with this administration. We’ve seen it happen with hydroxychloroquine - which is at least an approved drug for lupus and other diseases, with a large database of clinical data. Also, there have been reports of people drinking bleach after Trump’s offhand comment about it, so…
