When did you learn about the Tulsa race massacre?
I was tragically in my early 30s. Breakout - a group I’m honored to be a member of - was hosting a trip in Tulsa, and the agenda of the weekend showed why.
I couldn’t make the trip, but it didn’t stop me from Googling “Black Wall Street” and learning about the horrific tragedy that was sadly common during that time.
