Supreme Court agrees to hear Mississippi challenge to Roe v. Wade (The 19th*)
“In accepting the case, the Supreme Court said it would specifically examine whether “all pre-viability prohibitions on elective abortions are unconstitutional.””
Well. This is happening.
The implications are far-reaching (and immediate, pending this case). This piece does a solid job of outlining those outcomes.
It also has me incredibly grateful to live in a state that has legalized abortion, should Roe be overturned and abortion reverts to states’ rights.
