We talk a lot about employment numbers - the unemployment rate, jobs created, etc.

We don’t talk nearly enough about underemployment, the issue facing part-time and gig economy workers the most.

I could go on and on about this, but Annie Lowrey does an outstanding job of breaking it all down.

Both parties have failed to act on the underemployment crisis to date. There’s one candidate whose childcare & healthcare plans will go a long way in helping the underemployed. And consequentially, ALL Americans.
