A few announcements before we jump into this vibes-not-things wish list:
My bracelet collaboration with Names for Good is live, and every purchase supports New Morning, which helps South Carolinians receive contraceptive healthcare at low or no cost.
If you’re in NYC, I’ll be doing 1:1 mentoring sessions as a part of MM.LaFleur’s Career Compass weekend. If you’re feeling stuck, lost, or need some help in owning all your hyphens, I’d love to meet and help you.
What’s on your ‘vibes, not things’ wish list?
I want ‘flowering tree season’ to last a little bit longer, and without the aggressive allergies that come with said season.
I want to wake up before my alarm goes off, feeling fully rested. I want to feel a breeze wafting through open windows, sipping a hot coffee in bed while watching the sky grow lighter. No books, no music - just this peaceful moment.
I would like to get through a game night with my family with no cheating attempts from my kids (though I’m amused by their attempts).
Bodily autonomy and policies that actually help families would be nice.
I want more time with my family, especially my parents and aunts and uncles. I was FaceTiming my aunt in Vancouver this week and she asked me when I was coming to visit. I’m booking a flight for May.
I would like a bookcation, specifically at this hotel to read this book.
One wish is to lose the 5 pounds that have stubbornly refused to budge. And for that matter, I would love if women could send all their perimenopause symptoms to anti-science lawmakers.
I would do unspeakable things for Philadelphia Eagles season tickets. And to hug Gritty.
What are some not-things are on your wish list?

We’re headed into a big gifting season - here are some of my favorite things that I’ve received, gifted, and am generally loving at the moment.
Some Mother’s Day gifts I’m giving: this olive oil set (which the boys will paint for her) to my mom, a pretty baseball cap and a copy of Zarna Garg’s book to my mother-in-law. All I want is a Glamsquad mani-pedi at home while I catch up on my Bravo shows.
The jewelry I’m currently wearing every day - these earrings, this necklace, the most perfect little watch, and my Names for Good bracelet stack.
If you ask my mom what the best gift I’ve ever given her is, it’s these pajamas. Her second favorite is this pan, which is a lightweight, durable powerhouse that can handle anything (and lasts a lot longer than their original pan).
I’ve been told that How to Pack and We’re Speaking make excellent gifts - for a new graduate, someone who is still reeling from the election, and for the overpacker in your life (especially if that’s you).
Some of my favorite things in the world are from Rifle Paper - my journaling notebook, my tiny notebook for daily planning, the coziest blanket, and this ‘big dumb cup’ that keeps me hydrated. You can use HITHA20 to get 20% off your order (through May 17).

As someone who has hugged Gritty I can tell you you’re not missing much on that count. 😉
Surely someone can hook you up with a Gritty hug, no? Love that guy.
