Tears, Steam, Irate have been good starter Wordle words for me. But then again, sometimes I go rogue with a completely random word and behold...it's been super helpful! Honestly, sometimes the less you think about it the better it turns out!

That collagen article! Dang! Prolly guilty of the placebo effect right here. I’ve taken it for years off and on and assumed it was doing good. Oops.

Also that AHP wordle piece is soooooo good! My starting word is QUIET. :)

I’m liking these Wordle suggestions! I saw someone on LinkedIn share her starter word is “farts”. Personally I go with stern, suave, solar usually!

For Wordle, I love to start with SIREN and OCTAL, with a possible third word of DUMPY, if there are very few clues in the first two words.

That AHP piece was fantastic, and also made ME wish I had written it. She has such a gift for putting into words what we are all feeling. And thanks for highlighting the trouble in Ukraine. Living with a Russia policy wonk and having friends evacuated from the embassy in Kiev, it feels like that’s all we are talking about these days at our house!

I always start with "party" and two weeks ago almost every word ended with "y" and this starter word was money!

I use train as my starter word. Tried heart today because of eholmes newsletter last night. She crowdsourced a list of starter words.

my favorite word to use is IRATE. has many of the common vowels and consonants and also...matches my mood.

I use a different word every day. I like to use words like pluck or sting or words that use lots of different consonants because I find it easier knowing more consonants than vowels

I have a few. But also must account for luck! Words I frequently use: poise, house, moist, weary.
