I’m not sure if you’ve read it yet, but Siren Queen is an incredible, beautiful book about Asian Americans in the film industry! It’s fiction, but Anna May Wong is mentioned and it tackles the issue of the stereotypical roles. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.
