I have recently discovered and subscribed to you here. You're an amazing writer who connects easily with the reader - I truly admire this style! I've been struggling to build my own Substack after growing tired of the WP blogs I've done for 15 years. It's a slog...but by watching others on SS I am learning! I *could not* relate more. And reading your editor's letter I find myself thinking: Why did we make ourselves live like that pre-pandemic? (we didn't know there was an option not to, is probably the answer).
As an Observant Jew, I unplug for 25 hours every weekend, and as much as I love my Apple Watch - it's SO GOOD not to wear it for at least one day a week. I love what yiu said about recovery blocks, and will definitely try to incorporate them as well.
