I’m apparently quite fun in Nashville. I spent most of the week here, for our annual girls trip we plan alongside the Mom 2.0 Summit. We spent our days exploring the city and taking in the wisdom from the summit (and speaking!), the evenings dining and actually going out, and remembering who we are at our core before we became wives, moms, leaders, and creators.
I last felt like myself this weekend at Mom2. I was talking politics with friends from around the country and helping them see it can be done when we talk about shared values. It doesn’t have to weird or scary. We can create the future we want when we elect the right people and I am bringing one mom at a time with me to the polls.
My go to karaoke songs: What a Man - Salt+Peppa, Shake It Off Taylor Swift and 9 to 5 Dolly Parton.
Kiss An Angel was my first foray into the romance genre back when I was a teen and it was so much fun, I never looked back. Highly recommend This Heart of Mine by the same author. Hilariously funny (TW: miscarriage which was obviously really sad).
