One thing I've loved lately are LEGOS (I'm almost 38...)! I never played with them as a kid but my husband got me some lego botanical sets and it honestly SILENCES my brain. I am not into puzzles, can't sort out knitting, crochet, etc, but legos calm me in a way I can't believe. And now my office is filling with fun lego flowers and sets associated with my nerdy interests!
Ever since seeing that Lego roses moment in Abbott Elementary, I've told my husband that they're all I want for anniversaries/surprise gifts. Doing one of these sets while listening to an audiobook is like a spa weekend for my brain.
I have also been fascinated by Momtok and the Secret lives show! Growing up in Utah it’s interesting to see the national conversation around Mormon culture expanding.
I'm trying very hard to stay respectful in my curiosity - it's a privilege to have this peek into this world and I want to learn about it without succumbing to the snap judgement we often find ourselves making.
I loved this podcast about how working out affects brain health! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-dr-gabrielle-lyon-show/id1622316426?i=1000669025687
Oooh can't wait to listen to it!
